An Affordable CB350 Twin Ignition is finally here!

djelliott

Real bikes are built in garages.
This guy has been making the Pamco ignitions for XS650s, CB750s, and 550's for awhile now and has finally cooked one up for the CB/CL 350 twin! I've been on the list for the first batch and finally received word it would ship this week. Can't wait to ditch those points. At $109, it seems like a no brainer. woo!

Also builds ignitions for 450 models as well. Been working with the guys over on Honda Twins for a while. Can't wait for him to start working on a 360 version. ;D

350 should work on the 360.

There are differences in the plates I believe, I've never had two in my hands to check though. I think the 360 is larger around? ;D We shall see.

I had been talking to him about a 360 version. I sent over some measurements and I think the 350 version should work based on his measurements he makes them to. Hmmmmm...I reckon I'll be a guinea pig.

Let us know agent, I'm in if they will. Been fighting with this for a while!

check out his stuff on hondatwins.net, been waiting to pull the trigger on one of these. If your looking at the 450 version be aware there are two different advancer units, a "cb450" unit and a "TEC292" unit, you have to inspect the advancer and order the apropriate rotor to go with the plate, for more info on that:

He just got the 350 version together. I'm getting one of his first 10 that he put together. Read a bunch of customer reviews of his other stuff. Very happy people.

I hope to order one this weekend. I have to use the money I make from playing music to fund the bike. My paycheck funds bass guitars. It's a vicious cycle. :)

HAHAHA, me too! I work professionally as an Audio Engineer but my wife let's me use my gig money and money I make wrenching to fund my projects. Well, most of the time.

because although points are a usually easy fix if you are stranded, they are a pain in the ass. you have to fiddle with my points system every couple hundred miles
