Angle question

Before I embark on the café project that is rolling around in my head, I'd be grateful for some info. If you have an angle gauge laying around, please tell me the approx angle relationship of the footpeg and shifter and / or the footpeg and brake pedal. I imagine that if the lever or pedal have too steep of an angle, it would be difficult to apply pressure. If the angle is too shallow, it would be difficult to get your foot on top of it.

Thanks in advance. 8)

Bumping this because I would also like to know the answer. Do you just sit on it and see what how your feet naturally angle?

There is no specific angle that works with all bikes. It all depends on the relationship between the footpegs, seat, and handle bars. The lower and more forward the bars and the higher and more rearward the pegs, (as on a sportbike) the lower the lever will need to be. On something more of a cruiser with the opposite geometry/ ergonomics, the lever will need to be higher. So in short, yes you will need to sit on it and adjust them as needed for your specific bike.
