Annoying sound from my CB750

Anyone know what this sound might be? The bike is a '78 CB750k. I just replaced the cranks case and this was the 3rd or 4th time I have started the engine since. I haven't been able to figure out what the sound is, but it sounds like it is coming from the top end. I have triple check all the valve clearances and made sure that oil is getting all through the engine. I'm out of ideas as to what may be happening.

Whatever it is, it's not going to be fixed with the engine in, take it out and do it over

Of course not being able to stand next to the bike, limits me from knowing approx. location of noise, but it sounds up top, like maybe the rocker arm......

I adjusted the exhaust header and replaced the gaskets again. I think this may have solved the problem, but I'll have to want until after work today to let the bike run for more then a couple of seconds. The sound is defiantly higher up. I thought it was something with the valves or rocker arms, but now I think it may have been the exhaust.

It looks like that problem is fixed. I guess it was a loose exhaust gasket, but I'm not completely sure.
