Another CB200 build

Bought this back at the end of June, and mostly finished it by August. Just got the pipes finished, so its good to go for awhile until I get my CL200 front wheel/brake finished for it.


Cleaning up and de-tabbing the frame

Taking care of some wiring

Removed inner fender and other junk like tool kit

Some pods

New headlight switch

Seat pan is in from GFTP

Needs trimming

Tank was grey, now black primer

These headlight struts were on it when I bought it, custom CNC'd

Starting to come together, bars on, etc

New starter switch and mounting plate I made

Starting to make mounts for the rearsets

Too many black bikes, need something different

Rearset linkages getting completed, exhaust pipes starting to come together

Rear brake is a bit tricky on this frame

Chopped shifter arm

Seat needs some padding

Deer leather

Seat done

Pretty much finished up

Just need to finish up the mounts for the pipes, wrap them, and paint them. But its fully rideable now and LOUD.

I bet you can see way out in front of you with those headlight brackets

Trim the sharp corners off your rear set mounts.

they are aluminum arent they? You could sand those down by hand or use a file. Of course if you have an angle grinder that will do the trick too.

or a bench grinder - it'd take less than 5 minutes for both sides.

Never underestimate the lowly hacksaw either.
