Another Fork Brace Question...

vibration

Been Around the Block
Doing a cafe/brat build with a CB500T and will not be having a front fender, so I'm looking for a fork brace that can be used with boots but with a raised center to clear the tire. I like the RSW, but don't know if he makes one that will fit my forks. Left email and voice message for Ron, but no answer yet. I know there's a Tarozzi that will work. Not sure about Telefix or Daytona. Any others that look good and will fit these forks?

 Have you ridden a bike without a front fender and run over a small section of water? I have a shorty fender and I still get water up into the inside of my helmet, outside water is easy to deal with water up inside is a little more of a pain in the ass. Just MHO ;)

Someone on this forum said safety, handling or braking should never get in the way of your vision of a motorcycle...oh wait, that was me...tongue in cheek of course.

I do get quite the chuckle when I see the fenderless motorcycle rider, black streak of dirt on his back, black streak of dirt on his face (if they use period correct goggles.

What's most fun is hitting a little road dirt without a fender and having your face or face shield sand blasted. Really brings to mind the good old days.

Fenders are not for looks (but you can make them look nice).

A non-rider needs no fenders...building a rider? fenders are your friend.

Just took my kz750 out on Sunday. No front fender. I hit some of the smallest puddle spots and water went right up my face. So I'd suggest one as well. Just built a fork brace but I'll be looking for some type of front fender.
