Another newbie from Texas

Hello one and all,

I signed up on here a while back and have been admiring everyone's projects and completed bikes. Finally in a few days I get to pick up my project. Found an awesome deal on an '81 GS450 for dirt cheap. I look forward to building my own cafe bike and hopefully finding more cafe enthusiasts in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. You guys have incredible ideas and will definitely influence my bike.

I'm in Fort Worth and do other bikes to ride but my bobber/cafe project is what I like most. FYI there is a European Bike Night at The Amsterdam Bar in Dallas every Wednesday night. PM me if you want to hook up with about parts and such. I'm also looking for other cafe people to ride with. So anyone else who's into this locally PM me.

Vintage thanks for the welcome and the info. I'm actually southwest of Ft. Worth but will definitely have to make one of those bike nights.
