how have those unipods been holding up?
I have heard that they take reapplication of oil all the time to keep working properly. I have not run them so I don't know if this is true.
The pods need only be *lightly* oiled. About as regularly as you check your oil. Not a big deal as they are cake to get on and off.

I don't know yet 'cause I haven't ridden enough to require a new application of oil

Dardoonk,

I'm planning on changing the original handlebars on my GS750. I was thinking of clubman bars but think I might be uncomfortable and besides I have CBR for when I feel like hunching over. I like the handle you put on. Can you tell me the make, dimensions if you can and where to buy a set?

Thanks,
tbone

PS I also joined the GSResources forum; Fantastic!. tbone was taken so I'm TboneD on that site.

They were an ebay buy.. I think about $20. I can measure the dimensions for you, but I think these are pretty close.

That style of bar is often referred to as 'superbike'. Pretty common in your local motorcycle shops, but perhaps harder to find in black.
