Jackass drivers..... Got hit today. I'm Ok. Didn't even stop..Urrggh. Got back on the saddle fixed some things to make her rideable and on the way.. Just had to vent.
What the FUCK is it with cagers taking off when they hit people? Good to hear your ok man, that is some bullshit. It should be legal to shoot at anyone who takes off from something like that.
That's some nice looking leather. What is it? I wear mostly cotton flannels that give me no protection at all. Gotta get some kinda leather as I'm more worried about the cagers around me then my driving.
Dang man...Glad your okay. Thankfully your smart enough to wear the proper gear. That could have been a lot messier. Hope you feel better soon.
I just walked in the door from work. Was on the scooter today, (in the rain ) saw one accident happen, and then some dumb lady in a black cadillac nearly ran me off the road, cause she didn't bother to check her mirrors
Dammit! 3 DTT'ers down in a week, WTF is going on here?! Holiday season must be on all the cagers minds, guess they're too busy to actually pay attention when their driving. Glad to hear you're ok man. How bad was the damage to the bike?
Wow, people are shitty and it's really crap that we should feel we need to ride with a camera rollin' the whole time, but I got to that point after being run off the road last month. Luckily no damage and was able to get up on the sidewalk and narrowly miss a pedestrian and garage can. I did however tell my wife the only thing I want for Christmas is a small HD camera that can be mounted on my bars. Total suckfest.
Thanks guys.. The car was a soccer mom volvo station wagon thingy..I was in my line, she was in merging traffic. Jumped the line and got in the lane early.. THere I was. Bike's ok.. Put in a little time last night. Snapped my tag mount, redone. Bent my brake, fixed. Broke of my carbon bar end and snapped the trottle tube inside.., replaced.
Broke my rear turn signal, replaced..I got some LED turn signals for the rear but I've got a fast flast. Got a universal yamaha relay need to figure out where to plug it in ot tap in. May start another thread.
Threw some lotion on the cowhide and rode in today, supposed to be 78 with a breeze in ATL today. We've got a bike night tonight so I wasn't missing out. The ride in today was much better.
I won't let dingalings keep me from riding. Crackerman- The jacket is a Bilt. Bought from Cyclegear for about 120.. Here's a couple pics:
I am getting a go pro for christmas. From all these stories I have heard I think it would be cool to have it on all the time. Sounds pretty ridiculous, people just driving off like nothing happened. What complete BS. Are they scared that all bikers are the typical creepy middle aged men? Is there a way to have it on all the time when riding, or is that ridiculous. Glad to hear you are ok.
