Antigravity 4-Cell Battery

Hey guys,

I have a 4cell Antigravity battery. It says it is good for up to 600cc race bike or a 250cc daily rider.

If I ran LED lighting on a cb400, do think this battery would get it by, or would it slowly drain as I ride, or would it still not have enough cranking amps to get it going at all?

I was wondering if the alternator wouldn't pull enough and would drain the tiny battery as I ride.

Too be honest, I haven't looked a whole lot into the headlight yet, only the indicators, but I figured the headlight ould be pulling a bit of power so if I could eliminate that, or at least reduce the pull, do you think the little 4-cell would be sufficient?

Im painting the tank at the moment so as soon as I get that done I will try a few different things before I try out the LEDS, was just wondering if It would even be worth it.

The 4 cell should be big enough. Your charging system needs to be right on...The batteries are sensitive to voltage levels and don't respond well to overcharging or over discharging...

FWIW, please carry a small video camera with you.....

ooooh, that battery looks like it had a hard life.

Now, when you say it should work, are you saying it should with the LED's, or do you think it should work even without the LED's?

FYI: Led indicators are $14 shipped on ebay and that includes the LED relay, I don't think it could get any cheaper. Havent looked that far into the headlight yet though.

Just for a point of reference, our Asian sweatshop friends produce some headlights for under $20.

But where would all the wires go? Would they fit in this bucket?

they are proly made there i like the size of this unit

by the way led signals wont do much good ,and they are less visible than the oem units
it is running lights and headlight you should focus on

Yeah the indicators aren't much of a worry, its the headlight that has me worried.

Even if it does have the cranking amps to kick it over, im not sure if there will be too much power for the 4-cell.

listen you will need to make sure your charging system is in good shape,if so the battery has very litlle to do with running the headlight, the battery only really comes into play at idle speeds once on the road the charging system does all the work
the very cold cranking and or long continuous cranking with the starter then a small bat can be an ishoe

If you get a lithium battery also make sure you have a proper charger or it will end up like that youtube video. You will need to buy a lithium specific charger.
