Does anyone know if the brand Genius makes a charger that can charge my 4 cell Antigravity. I know antigravity sells the optimal brand chargers but locally they are about $190. Genius is also sold locally but the have some cheaper models.
Is the Genius charger for exactly the same chemistry as the Antigravity? There are differences, not all lithium batteries are the same chemical makeup. The charging methods vary.
Make sure your motorcycles charging system is up to snuff too.
I have replaced my regulator with a Kohler style one which I was told to do. I'm currently running on the old battery setup and want to make sure everything is in place before I swap in my antigravity. Is there anything else I need to change out?
Also after reading the tech specs on the Genius Website I can't seem to find any of them that say they charge lithium so maybe I was misinformed.
Well I ended up finding the Optimate Lithium charger locally. Pretty good price too! And happy with how it works. Just plug it in and leave it. Now I can get my Kohler regulator wired in and not worry about running the battery too low whileidling the bike and getting it all working in the garage.
I also picked up a cool accessory from Optimate that allows me to charge my phone off of the battery. It has a built in cutoff so it won't let me battery go too low. I'm not sure if the stator on my 360 can keep up to that or not but I figured worst case it just won't charge the phone if it can't keep up.
do I need to wire both in? Or just the dark grey box? Like do they both need to be hooked up to the Kohler unit and then ran to there separate channels on the stock wiring harness? Or can I just unplug the silver box and use the wiring from the dark grey box.
If I need to use both wiring sections do I just combine the yellows and greens?
Both old rectifier an old regulator are Retired. Use the yellow, pink and red wires on the old rectifier and connect the yellow to the one outer, pink to the other outer and the red to the center terminal. The last wire is ground. Put a ring terminal on and ground it to the Kohler and run a good ground wire to the kohler
This is what Did....You are mounting in a different place.
I cut the wires off my old rectifier (4 wire, square connector) close to the rectifier terminals, and used the harness over, plugs right in to the harness then
