not really ive been going to drill for several months now. i do regular stuff like if i were already on the job

Drill don't count homie ;) that's bitch work. When you get back and stick around a few years you'll look back and laugh. Ask me how I know ;)

lol for sure . Yah i just want to leave already and get it done with. My tech school is going to be 10 months long due to the fact that they are swtiching from f-16's to f-15's

Navy E-4, Aviation Structural Mechanic. My main backround was in F/A-18 A-D airframes. Then composites. Now that I'm out, I still miss those things, even though I still work in the industry. Would love to scrape together some cannon plugs to replace these old crusty connectors, they'd outlive the bike.

for sure. Looking forward to it and having spit from some one elses mouth over my face all day lol

try and go for band flight, its a little easier and they get like 6 hours a week where you arent doing push ups or clipping strings off your uniform. if you have never played an instrument they will probably put you on symbols or something. anyway, just my 2 cents

yah my friend said to do the same thing but dont get stuck as a chow runner! also he said kitchen duty can suck!

i was chow runner, it was kinda scary at first but once you remember what to say and how to say it it is no big deal. i never did kitchen duty but i have heard mixed things about it. VOLUNTEER FOR CHAPLE GUIDE! even if you are not relegious chaple guide basicaly gets you a day off from basic every week. its super chill and totaly easy. and the sec fo tech school guys were super cool to us. they gave us candy and poptarts and cellphones to call our familys. it was serriously the best part of basic. for me at least
anyway, feel free to pm me if you have any other basic questions, it does not seem like it has been that long since i was there.
