Anyone ever come to the beach? Want to?

Twisted and I live in Gulf Shores, Al, as does Chip(actually I think Chip lives in Fairhope, but he works here. Gulf Shores is on the Gulf of Mexico. It also has several bays and lagoons in the area. The highway that I live on is 22 miles long, water is visible for a lot of that. It dead-ends at historic Fort Morgan on the western tip of Pleasure Island. There is also highway 182 which runs along the Gulf of Mexico for about 20 miles.
The community here is very tourist oriented with lots of bars and restaurants. If you're planning on coming to the beach to vacation Gulf Shores is a great spot.
Having said that if anyone is ever coming near here, let me or twisted know so we can get together while you're down. My wife also handles rentals for a few gulf front units, and she can hook y'all up if you need a place to rent. This is an open invitation for a few beers for any of y'all that come to town.
 
And if you can make it on the scoot or at least trailer it down, we can do some cruising on the coast and some of the farmland slightly north. I am short a running scoot at the moment but plan to be rolling pretty soon!
 
aw man, I wish I had the time to travel. Although I went to Auburn, I never made it down to LA.
 
My little brother and a whole bunch of my friends went to auburn. Love the Auburn Alehouse! Tiger Tail Ale is the shit.

Have any of you guys noticed that those Alabama guys all smell like turnip greens? I mean it's terrible. But you don't want to point it out because I have found that when confronted with his turnip green smell, the alabama fan becomes extremely defensive and may even become aggresive. I don't know if bama fans cook turnip greens all the time or if maybe there is this turnip green air freshener or cologne that they use... I don't know... :p

How original, if you can't come up with something new you should just kept you pie hole shut. This is the same paragraph about the LSU fans and Corndogs, you just copied and pasted it and replaced LSU fan with Bama and Corndog with turnip green!

Oh, and have fun at the.... hmmm.... whatever non-bowl bowl your in...while we play for the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! You AU fans are so jealous of our winning tradition! I guess since you have so much time not preparing to win something you can spend it trying to come up with clever put-downs for you opponents!

I was down in Milton this past weekend to pick up a Kawasaki 440. Cruised thru Pensacola and Navarre Beach while I was that close.
 
hell yeah norton! There's a 440 for sale here. dented tank but running and titled. Could be had for 500. I think it was an 86. Pensacola beach is a nice ride. I'm only about an hour from there.

jmwy ;D I used to deliver in Mobile and the surrounding areas. Pretty much from Bay Minette to Theodore to Gulf Shores.

Somebody organize something near the Beach, with bikini clad women, and I'll make it there ;)
