Anyone have any luck using used Mikuni Carbs on a cl360? I see them on Craigslist for Kawasaki and other bikes. I was wondering if using any 28-32mm carbs might work.
the VM30 is quite a popular swap for the 350/360 bikes. i have a set of Mikuni VM30s for my 360 but i have not fired it up yet.
the biggest thing is to make sure you jet them proper and get the proper flanges for your motor. Also you will need a 2into1 throttle cable and some sort of intake. Pods is the popular choice.
Dime City Cycle sells this as a package for about $370. Pods/Carbs(Pre jetted), some spare jets and a throttle cable.
This is the package i got but from a forum member on here. if you can get both carbs for under $150 on craigslist your still going to spend another few $$ on pods and jets and cables. so make sure its worth your time.
