The Arizona / New Mexico trip was shot with my Leica M9, and the Christmas road trip was shot with the new Leica Monochrom. The M9 does great black and white, but the Monochrom takes it to a whole other level, particularly in low light situations.

My wife and I just got back from Montana and Wyoming, and we had the opportunity to drive the Beartooth Highway. This highway figured prominently in Robert Pirsig's motorcycle adventure back in 1968. This is a glimpse of what he likely experienced:
