I remember seeing a couple of pictures in builds and peoples bikes with 240s and whatnot in the background.
So come on out!!!!

I have a v-twin and shaft drive, so it happens occasionally :)

I have a 1985 Toyota Corolla GTS. More setup for road racing at the moment but I have had it on the track for drift events.

Nice! I had an 86 before! It was the worst daily ever haha it was a full track car and I would smell like exhaust fumes everywhere I went!

I've been doing through life for the past 53 years had plenty practice and pretty good at it.

Every car I've owned was/is a V8 RWD.
I've been "drifting" for almost 30 years. Except back in the day, we just called it "Goofing Off".

Ok, here is a more serious reply to your post. Yes, I have been to Formula Drift at Englishtown Raceway Park, PA. I've been to East Coast Bash at the same venue. Im into slammed cars, camber, and rivet on wide body kits. I follow State of Stance, V2Lab, Slam Society, and Super Street Magazine (to name a few) on Facebook. Although I do not have a drift worthy vehicle, I try to follow the sport when I can. What about you?

I had a Miata prepped for drift events for a few years. I alternated the build between drift and road racing, but ended up doing a lot more drift events.

Those were the street wheels, I had 13s with a variety of tires for track use.

Greddy based turbo kit, Hard Dog bar, Corbeau seats, Tein full coil-over setup, the works.

Here's what was left after it got stolen...

I don't build quick cars anymore. Not worth the time and effort.

Cool everyone!!! We have a little blog that doesn't get updated haha

My last car was a 83 celica/supra. I rebuilt it from the ground up. It was a drift monster if there was even a drop of water on the ground. Driving that car daily for the last 9 years I've done plenty of drifting wet or dry also went through 6 motors too,lol

thats why you build a sleeper.
It's not even that, it's more along the lines of "if I want a fast vehicle, I've got a bike for that" lol. Much cheaper and easier to do!

I had a 93 240sx a few years back. Basically just replaced a blown head gasket, upgraded suspension and welded the diff. My plans for a SR20 Blacktop and RHD fell through, so I sold it to a drifting friend..... who promptly crashed it into a mountain two weeks later. He was ok, but the car was totalled.

It was fun learning how to do basic drifting and car control, but one of my friends was waaaaaaaay better than I was, so I enjoyed just riding shotgun in his car. I should note that his S13 was RHD with an RB20. Another friend had an S14 with an RB26 swap. THAT was a fun car to ride in..... when it worked

Guess I can post my current track car. 1985 Toyota Corolla GTS, Cusco 2 way LSD, KYB shocks on Swift Springs, NCRAS for almost -4 degrees on camber up front :p Interior is a 2 spoke Momo rally wheel on a QR, Sparco Pro 2000 seat, Schroth 6 pt, harness, and an Auto Power roll bar. Braking is all SS lines with Hawk Blue race pads. Relatively inexpensive setup, but serious nonetheless :)
