Anyone running a fiberglass Tank on a street bike?

The guy knows his stuff when making tanks and puts the utmost care into the whole gasoline issue. Some tanks from eBay use lesser quality glass and materials and are more prone to problems.
And if you are thinking about running a glass tank, check the legality of them in your area first.

I've had gas in my tank for a little over a year now (link to the tank build: http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=6339.0)
So far the glass and resin is holding up well.
I am begining to have a problem now though, due to what I have discovered was a poor decision in my build process. Before I glassed in the tank filler, I primed it with dupli-color self etching primer which is not fuel proof. Although I sealed everything with epoxy, either pinholes or hairline cracks in the area around the filler neck have allowed gas to contact the primer and the epoxy is now flaking off around the filler neck. So far it's only happening in the small area that was only sealed and not glassed, but I'm concerned it may spread. Time will tell.

This is why I'm afraid to buy a fiberglass tank, I really like one from BCR but I've been told by quite a few people that the gas 'll eat through the glass. I know there's sealers out there but I'm still waiting to see what the life expectancy of those sealers are. Also, it won't stand up to any impact, not that I'm planning to crash but still, I'd like to know if the bike was to get knocked over the tank won't crack.
