I'm interested in possibly switching over to the private sector. I currently work in government and do many of the approvals for development, permitting, etc, and I've realized I'd make a lot more money being on the opposite side, and probably get more worthwhile experience to.
So, anyone work in land acquisition based oil industry, telecommunications, or some other growing field with good salaries?
I think I'd do better if I had an "in" with the company rather than calling recruiters.
