Are OEM Reservoir shocks any good?

I have a pretty light bike. I'm wondering if any of the reservoir shocks (assuming they're the right length) from the heavier hondas are any good. Specifically the 750 Magna or some of the GL's. I know they're not going to compare to a brand new off the shelf modern shock with a piggyback, but at 1/10th the cost, are they better than the stock shocks on my CB77 superhawk?

Are they rebuildable?

CB77? Awfully light in the rear compared to a Magna or 'Wing... If you want stiffer, get a set of CL spec, the Cerianis on my CL72 can launch my 240# lead ass into orbit.

Just looking for a little stiffer, and always thought the reservoir shocks looked dope.
