Been Around the Block
ok, so I kinda need the money and its honestly taking up space.. can't work on it where it is, surrounded by piles of crap (my housemate tends to pile stuff around it too, which is frustrating as hell). looking for a quick sale if possible! need to pay the bill to the mechanic for my GSXR.

1989 Suzuki GN250 project up for sale, clean title, single seat reg'd and everything there except for good forks.

looking for a quick sale so open to REASONABLE offers..

bought as a project for a cafe racer, but unfortunately time/space/money has raised the need to sell the old girl. I have a selection of spare parts, along with all the parts (apart from a seat) to make a cafe racer. this includes:
-high quality aluminium clip ons
-new aluminium fork ears for the headlight (stock ones get in the way)
-micro indicators all around (not LED, too much hassle and these are just as bright)
-tiny, lightweight lithium cell battery
-bar end mirrors
-taller rear shocks (and 9" struts if you wish to make a bobber)
-straight bars (along with the stock bullhorns)
and probably a few more things I haven't listed. the only thing needing drastic attention is the forks, which are actually buggered, discovering myself when I pulled them apart and found them to be missing parts.. in saying that I may be able to set up the buyer with a contact for replacement forks.

in the pictures you can see how the bike looked when I initially got it, there is a small dent in the tank and a crack in the rear fender. I was going to replace it so hadn't bothered repairing it. you can also see that the carb and engine have had pod filters attached, but the fuelling hasn't been set up so it runs pretty poorly when cold, just gotta tickle the idle knob till everything is warm. also a picture of how it's sitting at the moment, front end and tank off. I've also included a picture of my last GN which I made into a budget cafe, and was a total fun weapon which I now wish I'd been able to keep, and a picture of a GN bobber.

any questions, feel free to contact me.

the project thread is over on customfighters, but for some reason the link won't work on here. theres plenty of pictures in the ebay listing and I'm more than happy to ask any questions.
