Avon AM18 Tire Question

I have no experience with those tires. What is it that you are looking for in a tire? Handling? Wet weather? Milage? You can't have it all unfortunantly. Right now I'm running Bridgestone BT45s on my Kawi cafe bike and they handle pretty damn well. I can't tell you about milage because I only have a couple hundred miles on them. But I like them so far. I really like having confidence in turns and knowing my tires are going to stick. The BT45s haven't shown me any sign yet that they are going to let go. This is in the canyons and not on the track, but there are some people that race vintage classes that use this tire. I think the next tire I'm going to try is the Avon AM22 and the AM23.

I bought a pair of good condition used ones and had them on my CB350. They are race compound so I was concerned with fast wear on the streets. Whoa, best gripping tires I ever used on my Honda, much softer than the Spitfires I had on before. I even took them to the track one day and they held up great. They didn't wear as quickly as I expected, got around 15,000 kms out out them in 3 seasons. Expensive when bought new, lucky mine cost $25 for the pair. I recommend 110 front and 120 rear, that's what I used and they were perfect.

Cool thanks. Yea I have about 5-6 of the 120/80-18's coming in. Probably try one on the CB350 and blow out the others on sale.

If they are all not claimed before they even come haha. Should be here today. I only have the 120 sizes coming in. No 110's available from my distributor.
