Avon Road Rider AM26 - Thumbs up!

Now that these tires are broken a bit, I thought I post my satisfaction with these tires. They are super grippy, quiet, and very smooth to ride on(as I just did 30 miles this morning on my way to work). I paid $95 for the front and $110 for the rear. The price included installation. Sizes are 100/90/19 on the front, and 110/90/18 on the rear. My parts guy says that he uses them on the local road course on his 500cc Interceptor. Great Tires!

If anyone is iterested I just installed a 110 front and a 120 rear on my CB350, that's 2 sizes up from stock. The front is at it's limit but I thind the back can take a 130 but you'll need to do something with the chainguard. Fat tires rule.

never thought i'd say this to another guy, but... nice rubber. those definitely look nice. dig the tread pattern. thanks for posting the pics and your feedback.

I priced them out - decent prices locally. About $110 front and $130 rear - catalog prices so you might find a better deal (should be able to reduce by at least 15%).

Don't forget to add a couple of bucks ($14 ea for me) for the tubes if you're running spokes.

Oh ya..
In all honesty the only reason I ended up with these tires is becasue they were the only ones I could find in the sizes I wanted/needed. But after I got them mounted and stuff I am a huge fan. They look very aggressive, are GREAT in the wet, are nice and quiet, and fairly priced..
