Avon roadrider mileage

Assuming i have a pretty lightweight bike, and i'm average build, and I don't sit around doing burnouts all the time...

what's a good estimation on mileage for a set of avons?
 
I've had a set of AM26's on my 500 for two seasons now .... For a street tire, they sure are sticky if you really like to push through the twisties. They are a better performance tire and do wear a bit faster than cheaper tires or touring tires... however what's the real difference in price anyway? not much.

I know I didn't answer your mileage question, however go with the Avons.... you deserve them ;)
 
I already have them, just not mounted yet. They will mainly see sub-75 mph speeds, and i only ride about 2-3k miles a year.
 
I dont care what kind of mileage i get out of my avon road riders. I will never have anything else.
They are made out of ASPHALT GLUE.
 
On a CB77 they ought to dry rot before you wear them out. My CL72 is getting Shinko tires if I ever get the thing put back together. Just a cute little toy baby bike to tear up the local country twisty lanes with. Too little to go play on any real roads.
