Bad news at work today - Be careful out there!

Always horrible to hear this kind of news, I can't imagine the pain the family must be going through, my thoughts are with them and I hope the best for everyone suffering during this hard time.
I do wonder though, if he had been wearing a helmet if he would hav survived.

Horrible news. I'm praying for the family. I'm really close to where this happened where you from?

My thoughts and prayers to everyone involved. Always hate seeing a brother go down due to no fault of their own.

The worst part, the fucking crackhead whore will probably get community service or some such bullshit
Lock her up and throw away the key, there are NO EXCUSES for this

She should serve at least 5 years of prison time, have felony on her record, and also be required to register for life like sex offenders that she is a murderer.

as PJ said... no excuse for this. look, if you want to go ahead and do drugs or drink, thats your business. but don't go out and put other peoples lives at risk.

I'm dissapointed to see that he wasn't wearing a helmet however... Remember guys, always wear your gear. a small bump on the head could mean the end of your life if its just in the wrong place.

Appreciate the thoughts and kind words. Ya, we are all pretty bummed at work- Hope they throw the book at her, but since we (motorcyclists) are still targeted as a menace, I'm sure that he wasn't wearing a helmet and any other factors her defense can dig up will minimize her punishment. Bottom line is you are your only defense- ATGATT and keep your eyes open.

In the news today, someone died in the no-helmet rally over the weekend... Anyone hear about it?

It's always sad for those of that loose a friend no matter how it happens...hopefull it was peacefull it's just that when bikers go down the head is the first thing that hits the ground...least ways he was enjoying his ride and seriously he must have know that when starting his bike with out the helment he's always taking a chance ...My God be with him

I ride that stretch of 90 often. So sad to hear this. She must have been wasted out of her mind to be going the wrong way. There is NO excuse for that.

I'm with Rocan; I don't give a 35 cent shit what you do in the privacy of your own home. So long as you don't get it on me it's your business. When it involves non-consenting others it becomes a public problem and the full weight of the law should be brought to bear. America is free but that freedom is constrained by limits. Live within the limits and submit unto Ceasar that which is Ceasar's you're good to go. Step outside the boundaries and you are an outlaw.

No amount of jail time or restitution or public service will replace that man who was living within the boundaries. No amount of appoligizing will console his wife, children, relatives and friends. That woman should have his face, his wifes face and his childrens faces tatooed on her body so she will have to look at him every time she looks in the mirror. Then she should be required to provide his salary to the wife for the rest of the time he would have been employeed and she should have to deliver it personally every month.

My wife's brother was killed by a drunk driver and I have little tolerance for driving under the influence of anything.

My $.02,

FMTL
