I love the look of this bike. What does a paint job like this cost.

From the time and effort that I've seen go into a paint job like that, "if you have to ask, it's too much" is the first answer that comes to mind.

$2000 wouldn't surprise me on the bottom end of the scale. I also wouldn't be terribly surprised to have an experienced painter quote well north of $5k.

Depends on the paint used and if the candy colors are over real metal leafing. The last one I did was over $15K, and that was 17 years ago...

And if you have similar done, pray you never scratch the candy layer itself, you'll never get it perfectly color matched.

I think you might be surprised on paint- check out Josh's work at digthelid.com. There is a lot going on in that job and you have four pieces not including helmet, so it wouldn't be cheap, but he does awesome work at reasonable prices. IMHO, that is quite busy, but cool enough. I spend too much time looking at the psychedelic paint and not at the nice bits on the bike- balance.

There is a lot going on in that job and you have four pieces not including helmet, so it wouldn't be cheap, but he does awesome work at reasonable prices. IMHO, that is quite busy, but cool enough. Interesting style but I would never pay that much for it.

With my luck I would let the helmet roll off a table or drop the bike in the garage within days.
