Baltimore/Frederick Maryland...

Picture-perfect day yesterday for the Thurmont Nostalgia Run. I'm a pretty bad estimator at crowd sizes, but I wouldn't have been surprised to have seen 200 bikes at this event. Everything was there - from 1930's Nortons, to the latest Ninja, and everything in between. Our group decided to take the longer (80 mile) route through the rolling hills of Frederick County and into Pennsylvania near Gettysburg. Total mileage for the day (including the ride to the event) was about 240 miles. Looking forward to next year!

Our Gang: Me on my CB77 SuperHawk, John on his '49 Indian, Scott on his CB500, and Andrew on Scott's CX500 Custom.

Well, send me some and I'll wear 'em.

So, we need to decide on a date/place for all of us to meet up this spring. I work much better with a deadline, so if we have a date set, I will make sure "My Dearest Darling" is ready.

All of the Mid-Eastern DTT'ers should meet up at the http://www.bbdairy.com/

How about the first weekend of April (3rd or 4th)?

aw, no go for me on that weekend.
a little cold for ice cream, isn't it? :p

I'm away that weekend -- following weekend (April 10) is possible though.

Hmm......April......ice cream......I might still be in a hot coffee mode in April, but I can be swayed ;D

The second weekend of April works for me as well. Coffee would be good too.

Any suggestions on where to meet?

i'll still go for broom's bloom. i love that place!
they have soup and coffee and the like, too

hey i'm totally in, as long as my bike's running by then. and if i can get off work. so let's change that 'totally' to a 'maybe'.

I have it written in my calendar, and I should be able to bring a couple of more people along. They probably won't be on 'cafe' bikes, but some gorgeous old Hondas nonetheless!
