No Purple Hearts, No Blue Ribbons
Anyone in the Baltimore/Frederick Maryland area? Always looking for rides.

Also, I am looking for someone to help me lay down some paint.

Thanks again,

Justin Longhorn

Putting together a 76 CB550K and my buddy has a 74 CB360T. We're gonna be up and running in a week or 2 so we'd like to cruise around. We both live downtown Baltimore City

I work down near Essex with the air guard. Im located in central PA, but am down in your area alot. However the Norton isnt road worthy yet. But Id be looking to ride possibly in the fall.

i'm down there sometimes. i'd be up for riding down once the 350 is ready!

i like riding to this dairy farm in bel air that has some of the best homemade ice cream

I want to go to there ... LOL

550 is up and roaring. I'm psyched to roll anywhere. If I'm gonna go to Belair, I'd rather take the backroads until I get some new non-dry-rotted tires. Something in me feels safer at slower speeds on twisties than higher speeds on highways haha. I'm probably wrong...

Here's the 550 after a few mods...

my SO and i rode down to that farm today to get ice cream. it took 2 hours to get there. completely worth it.

then we rode the next hour or so down to our friends' house.. and then back to our place, so 3+ more hours. 7 hours on the back of his R6= i don't know that i'll be doing that again.

i have some friends in baltimore that visit from time to time.
how far away from the city is bel air? i like ice cream.

half an hour to 45 minutes

as soon as the bike is done i'll post up a ride.. do some roads around there and end with ice cream

that is, if the bike is done while it's still nice enough out!

i'm finishing up some work, but may go out for a ride with the SO in a bit.

I'm sure you are talking about Broom's Bloom- best ice cream I've had. Too bad they haven't done anything with all the money they've made over the last few years to handle all of the people. The lines are always way out the door and there's usually nowhere to sit.

Well, me and my xs650 are down here in SW Balto. The weather this week has been excellent but I've only been able to ride to work and back. I'm hunting down some electrical gremlins, but hope to be running this weekend.

If y'all are getting out... post up and I hope to join.

Roll on.

Oh, anybody got a spare set of 7/8 cafe bars? Euro bars would do. I am running superbike bars and my wrists want a little more bend...

I think I have a CB350 brake caliper around here just sitting. Let me know if you need one...

This coming weekend (Sept 13) is the Nostalgia Run in Thurmont. 80 mile ride through Cunningham Falls area, so you know it's going to be beautiful.

Signup at the Community Park starts at 9:30am, bikes leave at 10:30am. I think it's $5 for bikes 1953-1968, and $6 for bikes 1968-1989. Anything newer is $15. Weather permitting, I'll be there.

Hmm -- you sure you want to be seen riding with us fashion forward folks with our overpriced helmets?

But seriously Noel - you'd be more than welcome. There are a few of us who do the Sunday morning rides. We'll probably be doing something that weekend, so if you want, let me know and I can give you the lowdown (send me a PM). It's nothing fancy, and we're not out all day, but gives you an idea of some of the backroads in this area, and you can meet some new people.

WHAT??!!.. you dont all don a Simpson Bandit Helmet and, race around the city, taunting the cops, smoke-ups at the lights, kicking over bicyclists as you rip by...furiously doddging old ladies crossing streets just trying not to be last at the next cafe destination??.. Geezzzz..

LOL.. Hey that sounds good do me. I just wanna meet up with some of the DTT crew and see some of the bikes!!

I know sunday wont be good but Friday or Sat!!.. I"ll send you a PM..

Supposed to be beautiful weather on Sunday. This is going to be a good ride, and it's the 20th Anniversary of the event, so of course they'll have special t-shirts to honour the occasion. Heck, now you can't miss the event!
