Season Opening Ride, The Little Meriden Run, April 17, 2010

Well, its time for our annual season opening ride, The Little Meriden Run up
to Deer Park Cycle on April 17, 2010. Meeting at the Exxon at Greenspring
Valley Road and Falls Road, 9:30 am, kickstands up at 10:00 am. Route will go
out through the valley, stopping... at Bullocks for lunch, then proceed to Deer
Park Cycle for a grand tour!!

I do this ride every year. If you're into vintage bikes, you guys should check it out. Deer Park rolls out all their show bikes, opens the shop up to see what they're working on, and bake us cookies!
 
Don't know if I'll be heading to that one, Al. That weekend is the Chadds Ford Motorcycle auction (as I remembered last night!), and the preview is on the 17th, and the auction is on the 18th. Not sure if we're going up on the Saturday or the Sunday, but if it turns out that I/we don't head up there, I'll consider the Deer Park event for sure.
 
Sure did! Had 5 bikes meetup and ride from the Exxon out to Deer Park Cycle. I had my monthly breakfast ride with the Susquehanna Valley Cruisers, so we had breakfast in New Oxford then rode down and met the group at Deer Park.

It turned out to be a beautiful day. Didn't even get cloudy until the afternoon.

Deer Park rolled out the red carpet as always. Lots of bikes to look at and a nice spread of treats for us.
