look for some reasonable hotels just off I-20 in Irondale AL
it's just a few minutes away from the track by I-20 or a nice back road.
All the LEEDS AL hotels are booked well in advance

There are a few motels in Moody Al which is very close to the park. They may have already booked full but would be worth checking out due to the close proximity.
If you don't find a room, let me know. I've got a room booked in Pell City at the Comfort Suites. It's a new hotel and I stayed there last year.
Turns out I'm not using the room, but I haven't cancelled it yet. I've got it booked checking in the 5th and out the 10th - I'm sure I can modify that if need be. All in with taxes I think the rate was just under $100 a night. According to the reservation info the room sleeps up to 7. It's got 2 beds and a sofabed and they'll throw a cot in there too.
