Hey fellas--

Last year, while I was overseas, I went through purchasing a pair of Bates "road race" boots, custom-sized in brown.

I am basically a US 10.5D/ Euro 44 in any shoe out there, sometimes a Euro 43. I tried the stock Bates boots and they were a bit too small in the calf and I seemed to be between sizes. Plus, I wanted them in very dark brown instead of black. FYI, these were cut so with trousers outside of jeans in mind. If you have smaller calves, tucking in your trousers should make a good fit, if that's your style.

Went the custom sized route, but somewhere over the Internet and tracing my feet, etc. something was lost. Now I have boots that are just barely too big to wear. Tried insoles, but no dice. So the time has come to find them a home.

If anyone's going to be at Barber, I'll bring them so you can try them out. PM me.

These were well over $300 new. Let's talk price if they'll fit you. These are the real-deal, old-school boot. Hurts me to get rid of them, but what else can I do??
