Battery life

Been Around the Block
So I've got a smaller battery setup on my 360. A 12 volt, 4 amp model. I know quite a few guys on here are running smaller ones. I haven't gone on any long rides, so I was wondering how long a fully charged battery would last constantly powering the lights. 4 hours+?

If your charging system works it should keep your battery charged. I have a 4Ah battery and no charging system on my bike; the stock headlight pulls over 3 1/2 amps and will drain the batt after a little over an hour. I installed a toggle switch so I can turn it off durring the day (not leagal on a '78 but oh well.) I can almost all week before I need to recharge. YMMV: all other lighting on my bike is LEDs and with the headlight off I'm pulling less then a 1/4 amp out of the battery. When my neutral light starts to flicker I know it's time to charge her up.

Yes, just kicking it over. No electric starter.

My charging system works just fine.

Toggle switch. That's a good idea. I don't plan on riding at night, so the headlight isn't really necessary. That was my biggest concern b/c I knew the stock headlights pulled some amps.
