Battery Tender Plus 12V vs Battery Tender Junior 12V

DTT BOTM WINNER
OK, I did a web search and looked at the Batter tender site but I can’t figure out the difference.
Why is the big one almost double the small one?
I had lighting hit my house and knocked out my old Schumacher brand batter tender. I have a Battery Tender Junior on the wife’s bike. I want to buy two more, one for my street bike and one for my café racer.
Is there any feature that makes the plus worth it to have? I had it in my brain that the plus had a feature that would bring back dead batteries to life, but I may have made that up. Looking at the site, they don’t seem to be any different.
Thanks,
eddie

The plus charges faster. If you're not in a hurry, get the junior.

Most battery "tenders" wont bring a dead battery back. All they are for is maintaining battery voltage. For motorcycles, the Junior should be fine. According to the site, the Junior is .75 amp charging rate, and the Plus is 1.25 amp charging rate. Not a huge difference IMO. Neither will bring a battery back from the dead, but should do just fine keeping the batteries in good shape granted you dont have a huge key off draw.

The juniors are fine.

I have the plus because I also use it on my Car and Marine deep discharge batteries as well as a jump start battery and some small sealed alarm system batteries. The extra capacity is useful.

I also purchased a plus for similar reasons. if it was just for the bike I would have opted for a junior for half the price
