Battling Betsy to the rescue!

Frito Bandito

Badges? BADGES? We don't need no stinkin badges!
Hi and thanks! I'm Rich and have been into cafe bikes since the mid sixties. Ya, I'm that old. I've built several and really love the stuff guys build in their own garages. You can keep the 'custom' stuff. I'll take a home build every time! I'm currently on a 1972 Harley Davidson sportster (right side shifter) that I had in my garage for about 15 years and finally decided I would put some love into it (I'm going to try to post a few pics). There is a huge amount of good info on this site, so I'm really pleased I found it!! Hope to get more involved in the coming months. Once again, thanks to all! By the way, the exhaust on the sporty has been changed to a 2 into one with a NOS BSA muffler. Still looking for some clip-ons, but until I find some, the Ace bars will do. The front end was lowered about 1" after the pics were taken. Her name is Battling Betsy.

Very nice ride. I dig the HD cafés for sure. The V-Twin just make everything look nice and compact, even if it isn't.

Looks great! I feel like a bigger headlight would be more fitting, and I bet that 2-1 exhaust really makes it!
