How come no one is rolling with a bellypan on their vintage street cafe? Is this not a cool thing to do? I think it would be a slick look if you could figure out how to work a the stand in as well. Do people not use them because its a pain to work a pan around a stand or is it because hardcore racers are going to call you a poser as you cruise down the street with your pretty pan?

It might help catch some of the parts that keep falling off of my bike. ;D
I think most ppl don't want to have them on, but it is required for racing. Seems like you could weld up a simple sheet metal one, or even a fiberglass one that is held on with quarter turns to make it easily removable.
