I periodically spray it with stuff I bought online. I have never tried the wash in stuff. The jacket's kinda tight now afraid it'll shrink more or is that me growing? 8)
I've seen these used vintage jackets go for more than $600 in NYC.
I got the real wax from the Ace Cafe website a few years ago. Got my Belstaff Suit back in the early 90s' for $169 plus tax.... that was for both pants and jacket. I am going to have mine cleaned at the cleaners and waterproofed.... then I am bring them home and putting the wax to them. Hope they won't leak then. For years I used Thompson Water Seal in the spray can. Once a year and I was good to go, only drawback was the smell which went away in a few days. I rode 400 miles in driving rain coming back from Springfield one year and just got a little damp around the pants zipper (which is on the side). Did not have a windshield or fairing either.....
