Hey kuya Rico,

Because of customer orders, other BCR project bikes, and the holidays coming up, it has been a very slow progress. I'll post more updates of "trixie special" before the holidays. Trixie special is going to be my last HONDA CB750 cafe project. That's why me and the rest of the BCR crew are putting all the trix that we could think of into that bike. Plus the namesake of that project is very special to the whole BCR crew. So the stay tuned.

Oh yeah, here's a pic preview of our other latest project "el poquito 350"

Benji, you've finally seen the light and realized the 350 twin is where it's at! I gotta have that exhaust!

minus the vibrations at high revs, I've always been a big fan of twins specially the sound of the exhaust. Nothing compares to the scream of twins at high revs or even the thump at idle. We just bought two XS650 to add to our project and can't wait to play around with the exhaust design.

What's the scene like dow in Jersey? I'm in CT and I swear Im the only one in this are on a cafe bike and when I'm out and about on it, people look at me like I just laned from another planet or something

I think that's what it's gonna be like around here in KW. I haven't seen anything remotely like a cafe. Even when I take my 650 out people look at me funny when I tell them its a '78. One guy even asked me if it was "one of them new retro-lookin bikes". Sorry dude, its the real thing. The only vintage bikes I've seen around here were a couple of old guys on mint stock Triumphs. If you're hoping to look different and stand out from the crowd, a vintage styled cafe is definitely the way to go.

I typically only talk about how much my hometown of Columbus, OH sucks but after reading some of the last posts on here I guess I'm really pretty lucky. We have a thriving vintage/cafe motorcycle scene in our town. I've been active in the vintage bike scene around Columbus for the last 12 years or so. Last August some of us decided to get organized and started CO-OH VinMoto. having CO-OH VinMoto "On any Monday" Bike Nights to try and bring people together. Turn-outs were great and we made lots of new friends. By the end of the season we regularly had between 20-30 bikes show up. Hopefully next year will be even better. Can't wait for warm weather.
