Best place to spanner? The living room?

Dale

Coast to Coast
Now I know some guys have fully kitted garages and workshops with all these creature comforts and more - but...

Was putting the final few pieces on one of my builds last night.

I figured what the hell, the living room has:

1. Under floor heating
2. A comfy rug
3. A TV
4. A couch to sit back and contemplate my handywork
5. The kitchen is a super close

So why would I work in the garage? I'll tell you: No reason.

So brought the bike in, settled in, and did some light spannering. I can seriously recommend it.

Any of you guys doing the same / different?

That's all good and well if you don't have a wife and kids.....

But my garage never gets cold enough not to work in anyway ;D

Well I know for me, the fridge with the beer in it is closer to the garage, so... ::)

Not one to judge, but with homes like that, it looks like you should be able to replicate any one of those wicked shops, easy!! :)

For me, going to work on my bike is all about getting away from the world I "live" in. :D

You are obviously NOT married to a redhead.

And like Mr. E, the beer fridge is closer in my garage, and the tunes are better.

Fuck that. Working on a bike SUCKS when done in your house. Well, it does when its my shithole that you couldnt get a bike into alone, or leave anything lying about, or make any mess, or... Good on ya for having the space. Most dont. :)

I smell bullshit. There's no oil on the floor or greasy hand prints on the couch. Oh wait! The bike isn't British. That explains it. Sorry.

I want to see a video of you testing out the rev limiter on that NSR while it's in the house ;D

Just open a window!! ;)

Just a bit of tongue-in-cheek guys. Don't get too worked up. :)

Yeah, definitely wont be kicking over the motor in the house!

If yours is light wrenching, then what does that make mine?

I once put a basket case yamaha together in the spare bedroom of my old apt. When I was still single of course.

Hell, I don't even like opening old forks in my garage because of the smell.
