Here's my ratty bike. I'm about to try and finally get some more done on her, but who knows? This bike is in the wind a lot! It's a 72 cb750 with all sorts of homemade mods.

Exactly! And don't get me wrong, I love to see an incredibly nice and show worthy bike, but to me there's something really sick about a rugged, raw post apocalyptic lookin bike. it's something I really enjoy.
