blown up anti-grab battery...buddy frantic...

friend blew up an anti-grab on his 73 XS650 cafe...he was frantic...seat rubbed across both terminals...

put in a new ballistic...rerouted the wiring...lowered the battery...happy cafe camper again...like working on bikes much better than cars...40 wasted years I guess...

Bikes sure are a hellofalot easier to push around the shop when they aren't running. ;D
And the parts are a lot easier to lift too. ;)
 
Those LI-ION batteries have a truly awesome discharge rate.

I was troubleshooting some turn signals on the work bench a couple of weeks ago and accidentally connected the test leads in an improper manner. I used my left hand to touch the spare lead to the battery and ended up bypassing the test circuit. Got a nice 2nd degree burn on my thumb and forefinger because the 18ga wire heated up so quickly.
