Brake Caliper Thread

Looking at all the brake conversion available for older bikes by using new model calipers the idea of a thread with all information available might prove useful.

So my thinking was to list disk size, caliper type and mount bracket spacing eye to eye. If we can get enough of a library build we may even uncover some swaps that hadn't been done before.

Kawasaki W800 2016.
Disk: 300mm
Caliper: Tokico single sided matched twin
Spacing: 58mm

Yamaha XV1100 1992.
Disks: 292mm
Caliper: Sumitomo opposed twin.
Spacing: 105mm

I'll have to measure a few things and post them up
I have some Brembo calipers with a very narrow spacing. Came off an early Victory V-twin (2003~4 maybe?)
Various Honda and Suzuki calipers, various Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki rotors (stuff I got for the XS650, CB360 and Katana)
I guess bolt hole diameter or spacing would be good idea for rotors? (even if most can be re-drilled)
Oh, and number of bolts, 4, 5, 6. Sometimes getting holes in correct location will be difficult plus stainless steel rotors can be very hard when heat cycled a few thousand times
