brake pivot arms for rearsets

Coast to Coast
Does anyone have any advice on length and fabrication on modfying their brake pivot arms to work with rearsets? I have seen several fabbed pieces but no information anywhere on what t takes to do this or make it allign. Ringo and several others have the pivot setup I am speaking of.

I noticed that some aftermarket sets come with this pivot piece standard. My set did not. What is the rule of tumb on length from pivot (should this match the length of arm from pivot on the rearset?). Any tips on cutting grinding or manufacturing your own pivot arm? I do not have access to a welder which limits my abilities.

The bike I have is a Suzuki GS450. I have noticed that some brake arms come off much straighter from the pivot than mine. This "could" make using another Jap brake arm a better choice. Are the spline deminsions the same on most Jap bikes, or do they vary?

I appreciate any information people can give me. I had posted ths under rearsets with no real result. I know Titan performance has the additional piece available but it would be $100+ after shipping. Does anyone fabricate these cheap?
