brake side lever and linkage solutions

Coast to Coast
Alright finally did a crap load of aluminum grinding and shaping on the backside of my mounts. Got the rearsets mounted and am ready to work the linkage. Shift side should be self explanitory (I hope). The question is what to do on the brake side. Ringo and a few others have given me some little tid buts and advice (thanks guys!). When it comes to the brake side am i going to be forced to cut the lever off completely and weld on a new thinner lever to get it out of the way? Sorry for the craps pics it was getting dark.

All opinions welcomed and appreciated.

Picture of where origional lever arm will be out a little farther than planned. It clears the rearset lever but I wonder if it will get in the way of my foot.

I have the rearsets spaced out as well. solid and only a little flex if I am jumping on the pegs. Does anyone see a safety issue in this? if so i may have to go back to the drawing board.
