The phillipshead screw that locks in my tacho cable in the clutch cover is all turned to pieces so i can't get any grip on it anymore. Can i just weld a nut on it to get it out our can this damage the aluminum casted surrounding?
I dont know about welding it, but i normally use a sharpened flat head screwdriver and hammer to cut a new slot in the head then use an impact driver to get them out.if that dosnt work i hit it with a small dremal bit to drill a pilot hole then drill it and get the ezi-outs on it.
