Hi guys. So a bit of background. This is my second bike. My first was a bit of a dud. Not to get all emotional on that part of history, I saved up some cash and bought a SYM T2 wolf 125 for less than $1k. Bike was in good shape and decent for a commute. So these are my plans. Iv always enjoyed the cafe racer style of bikes but certain things cannot always be bought they need to be built. In my country the market is very low on classic style type of bikes. So its not worth for them to bring in any for a small audience of customers.
Similar style bikes are very expensive and classic older bikes either have license issues or werent well looked after. My dilemma is that I keep this bike and turn it into a cafe racer style something I will enjoy riding time to time and get another bike more on the supersport side with fairings which is going to be untouched.
or sell this bike and get something better, a well known brand, faster etc but since getting a more expensive bike I will be declined to mess about it and to rather keep it stock if you know what I mean.
So looking to get some ideas

This is after doing some stripping
Do you guys think this frame has potential to become a worthy project to invest in. removing some further items like the stock exhaust, the headlight to a round one, the front wheel fender/arch to cafe racer one.
will a u bend pipe work on this frame removing the rear where the triangle ends and welding on. Any adjustements required for the tank and the battery i would change to lithum-ion but where to relocate as id prefer to keep the stock airbox,
