Building An Allloy Tank For My TR5mx

Tank is more or less done as far as the fab work goes. It's not perfect but most of it will be painted anyway aside from a polished panel on each side. Some of the welding went very well and some not so good. I actually impressed myself with the welding around the tunnel/oil filler cutaway, it was near impossible to get at it I still have to weld on the locator brackets on the front.

Only the tank and seat left to finish now on this bike. I have been working on the tank and got the side panel polished today. Hopefully start paint tomorrow. Where you see the black sharpie line in the pic that will be a gold pinstripe with the polished alum panel inside it then the main tank body will be black. I've already decided that I will be making another tank for this bike as this one came out a little larger than I wanted. I treat this as practice
