cafe 2 seater?

I've seen a few pics without the rear bump and sort of a banana style seat. I'll have to take a look around and see if I can dig one up.

I think someone was making a telescopic seat so it would be 1 seater but the cowl could be moved back to fit someone else.

Hi Jim.....we have a seat being made at our fibre glass fabber as we speak, which might do. We build Titan cafe racers, which usually have big tanks and single seats....but I am converting one of my own and wanted to keep the stock tank. This means extending the seat forward to meet the tank. It may be big enough for 2 when done....providing neither is too big !
We will be making upholstery for it too....

This picture shows the seat I am using......it will be extended forward about 8" to the tank..

Don't have anything important to add except that you will need passenger pegs as well. And please don't get the type that clamp on to the swingarm- that will really scare the ladies.

Here is my solution:

One bolt and 2 minutes later:

Both tailights use the same pigtail connector and are mounted to the seat.

Needed to keep 2-up to pick my son up at Daycare.

I could be possible to make a bump stop that bolts over the rear of the seat, kind of like modern day seat cowls for banana seats (think ducati monster). Triumph do something like it with the Thruxton.

Not saying I've tried it, or that it'd be easy, just a thought....

iv got 2 seats a long seat and a foam hunp seat.. if worst comes to worst the hump seat is foam so they can sit on it.. or.. fuck it have her sit on the tank lol... jk

Places that do car upholstery will generally do it.

I don't think there's anything wrong with leaving the bump off altogether, if you want. Plenty of pictures from "back in the day" show guys running what look like stock seats, with room for two.
