Cafe racer in a hurry

So, my first local bike nite is happening tonight (Wednesday). Unfortunately, my current CB750 cafe project (http://dotheton.com/index.php?topic=4875.0) is still getting painted.

I was hoping it would be done by today, but my painter only has the parts in primer so far. I had a CX500 cafe racer last year....

but when I got the CB last Fall, I converted the CX into a commuter/light tourer....

I actually considered stripping the CX down last night (Tuesday) so I can put the cafe stuff back on. But after staring at it for 20 minutes, I realized that couldn't happen in any short amount of time.

Six hours later, I ended up with this ....

Bike Nite, here I come.

.........show-off.........

All kidding aside, nice job on the quick transformation. What's plan for your other tins as far as paint is concerned....because that looks fantastic.

Damn dude, that's quick! Beautiful bike bro. I'm going to try to stop by tonight. I'll be on the BMW. I'll text you later.

Your bikes are really beautiful, what do you make the seat padding out of and do you ever sell anything like that?

Check out page 4 on my build here: http://dotheton.com/index.php?topic=4875.45

The seat pad is made from a knee pad I bought at my local auto parts store for $15.

What kind of fork brac you have on that CB750 ?

That is a Markland fork brace -common aftermarket fork brace for the GL1000 which is what my entire front end is from.
