It IS slightly better than NOTHING at all. The main problem is that there is so much garbage spouted that is plainly not of the day, and just as obviously by people who were never there, or not even born then !
Mark Willsmore is a prime example - I admire what he's done with the Ace as a money making venture - but as to the crap he comes out with. To listen to his "accounts" of going to the Ace in the day - he was only 7 years old when it closed !!!!!!!! :
Have you guys seen the French "Cafe Racer" magazine ? Pre dates the "new and exclusive Cafe Racer" [US ] by a few years.
As long as you cherry pick the bikes built and ignore the "quotes from the day", .........It is slightly better than nothing at all.
