"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

Café project bike. . . long way to go but not a bad price for a bike that "runs great".

I thought the seat was interesting. Not my preference, but pretty elaborate and planned out...

i think this thing is fucking siiiick.

if titled price seems reasonable.

Fully restored? Must be a translation issue. Two rattle cans of flat black and throw away a few parts and it's worth 2k?

That Wing seat looks like a Berkolounger- all it needs is a pop-out leg rest and a couple of black plastic built in cup holders. I bet a day bed slides out the back.

lmao that is exactly what I was thinking. I mean if you going to throw away the screen door, coffee table, and end tables you might as well throw the couch out to lol

Listing raises more questions then answers.
Could have spent that kind of money to build, price could be a seal.
But like I said a few things need to be known.

Another example that begs the question....
Why don't more people build bikes like this?
The whole "it only works for pictures" is lame...

Unless you are racing, whats the point?

The other thing that makes me wonder is why it is for sale. With $20k into it, selling for $7500 is a big loss....I guess he didn't "Invest" wisely...

I to often wonder why sellers say how much is invested ?
better off to left it unsaid in my opinion, let the machine sell on its merits as is ...and I do think that bike is priced fairly
if you look in the pics he seems to have another one :)

Why would it have been built for profit?
Most I have seen that are built for a profit so it...in the lack of quality.

Doesn't look like that 750 would be cheap to build.

The obsession here about building everything for no money is strange to me.

All I can think is putting $20k unit and selling for $7500 is more profit ( less loss) than racing it. :)

Maybe he finally did the math on racing profit.

If new ones are that cheap mydlyf, then you should start selling them here. 9-13k for a new one and this looks a heck of a lot more fun.
