"Cafe Racer" such a loose term! Craigslist "Gem" of the week!

That seems like a great price for a pair of 1000Rs. Big and heavy though they were, they are good looking bikes and still pretty fast.

Heavy indeed. I like the euro front better but irregardless cool bikes. Nice that the one has all the typical upgrades.

Slightly related: I'm shocked by how many CL bikes "fell over in the garage from the previous owner"...
Weird.

Or "out of the system, should be easy to reg." or "this is a rare find" or "just needs carb's cleaned and battery" or "just needs TLC".........

I saw one yesterday:
"Will run if you know how to get it running, I don't so it don't run"

Well if you don't know how to get it running how the hell do you know it will run? Morons.

Weird.

No one ever owns up to their crash on CL. Always somebody else's crash.

You'd think you were soliciting these bikes because you are indeed the one selling them.

Id say what he has could be described as delusions of grandeur. $1000 for an untitled Yamaha 175? Nope.

Prices aren't that bad, IMHO, and a lot of people don't keep/have titles on dirt bikes. Some of the prices on the other bikes are pretty decent.

If it doesn't sell for ten grand on Craigslist...

Just wait a day, and post it for $13k.
