Nice bike, but 8 grand?!

Certainly not, especially considering that its a CB450 toaster tank & seat on a CL450. Plus its got Uni foam pods on it and not stock air filters. This super clean, bone stock version went for just $5600 - http://www.ebay.com/itm/1968-Honda-CB450K-Only-2-275-Original-Miles-A-collector-039-s-Dream-/221460544972?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2047675.l2557&nma=true&si=SfM%252FGi8c2zyY7cz77rGMughG1Is%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc00

Every time I see one of these bikes, I get a vivid picture of a guy with two metal strips sticking out of his thighs, and his face ground flat from a 200' face plant.........

Not sure if it would haul my fat ass around, but it looks like a decent deal for someone.

How could you ride that bike for any more than 5 minutes and that's if you don't get thrown off after the first bump. I'm used to seeing hardtails with sprung seats. Oh, my aching back....

I just got home and and was on the highway for about five miles and I needed every inch of travel I had and was still bounced up off the saddle at least a half dozen times at some of the bigger bumps from less than flat repairs at the expansion joints between the slabs. I can't see how'd you stay on the bike. ???

So its got a 1981 CB750 title, and tank, but not much else? You think the Kawasaki that donated most of the rest of the bike is stolen, or just not paid for and reported stolen?

I had the same line of thought as well. That is not really a 750 at all. Still a nice bike though, a bit pricey.

I think there's a bike in there somewhere - not sure - maybe it's a boat?

Nearly impossible to tell, but that sure looks like a rare VF1000R and not a 500 to me.
